How to locate a water connection point behind a shower wall

We really love diy.stackexchange.com. They really do give some pretty good plumbing advice over there. They are kind of like a Yahoo answer for home improvement question. Here is one on how you can locate a water connection point behind a shower wall. "I've inherited a half finished bath remodel. The shower panel mounting brackets are installed and there is an empty 2 inch diameter hole, 3 feet off the floor. T he original shower head / handle was on the same wall. There is hardibacker behind the porcelain tiles. Without causing too much damage, how can I find the cold/hot connections and attach them to my shower panel?" ᔥhttp://diy.stackexchange.com/questions/33386/how-to-find-the-water-connection-behind-a-shower-wall
