Low Water Pressure At Home?

The water pressure in your home may be low due to a few reason. The first thing you may want to do is check if this is affecting your unit only or is it affect the units next to you as well. If it is affecting the units around you the best thing to do is to call HDB or PUB.

However, if the low water pressure problem only persist in your home, there can be a few reason why this is so.

1. Supply valve may be partially close.

2. If this is an old pipe, water may have been clogged with lime deposits

There is not much one can do when the water pressure in your home is low. The only thing you can do is to check if the problem is in your unit only? if so is it a particular system that has problem. If the problem only occurs with a particular tap or shower, check if the the washer is dislodged or if the aerator( if there is one) is clogged.

Other than that the only way to solve the problem is to call for a plumber service to have an assessment of the problem.
